Case Studies:

Tangible Interaction creates sensory installations where people participation is key.  Their work taps into some of the most basic human instincts: to play and explore. It also generates talk value through a shared experience. To do this, art, design and technology are blended but always subtly to ensure the experience is the focus of attention.

Established in 2006 by Creative Director, Alex Beim, Tangible is based in Vancouver, BC. The team is a diverse mix of talent spanning interactive, industrial, graphic and audio design as well as programming, electronics, engineering and production.

Together, they produce public artworks and custom projects as well as brand-able interactive experiences for experiential marketing and entertainment industry clients. Highlight projects include: controllable stage lighting set for electronic music artists, Purity Ring. ┬áJelly Swarm, an interactive artwork for Vancouver Aquarium. A digital graffiti installation for Chanel’s SoHo NYC store and Zygote Interactive Balls at the 2010 Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony.
